Join us at the Basin on Friday the 25th of February for our Traditional Test Match Breakfast as we celebrate the Blackcaps Test against South Africa

The first morning of any test match is always one of anticipation and hope. This is especially so when we have as our home venue the Basin Reserve, the sixth oldest test ground in the world, and recently voted in the top ten test match venues worldwide.

To celebrate the start of the Wellington test match, Wanderers instituted a first morning test match breakfast. This annual event has been an institution at the Basin for over ten years.

The club has been fortunate to have as a life member Bryan Waddle, who is able to use his contacts as a world renowned cricket commentator, to get interesting and varied speakers.
