Wanderers Young Cricketers Programme 2023-24: Nurturing Talent, Building Futures

The Wanderers Cricket Club is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2023-24 Wanderers Young Cricketers Programme, a pivotal initiative in our ongoing commitment to nurturing young cricketing talent in Wellington.

This year, the Programme proudly supports a diverse group of young cricketers from various schools across the region. These schools, often lacking the extensive resources and support available in more established cricket institutions, are home to some of the most promising cricket talents in Wellington.

Our selected group of 16-20 secondary school students will embark on an enriching journey, receiving 12 hours of group coaching from some of Wellington's finest coaches and past players. This invaluable experience not only hones their cricketing skills but also instills a deeper appreciation and understanding of the game.

Moreover, each participant in the Wanderers Young Cricketers Programme will have the unique opportunity to play in a fixture for the Wanderers CC, allowing them to showcase their talent and hard work throughout the season.

We are excited to introduce the young cricketers who are part of this season's Programme:
