World Cup Mace visits our Patron
We are incredibly proud as a Club to record the recent visit by members of the Black Caps inaugural Test World Cup Group to Rita Angus Retirement Village, along with the trophy Mace.
There Trevor (TG) McMahon, Wellington Wanderers Patron, met and chatted with cricketers Rachin Ravindra, Blackcaps assistant coach and former NZ wicketkeeper, Luke Ronchi and NZC’s Willy Nicholls.
Also attending were Wanderer’s life member Bryan Waddle, General Manager Evan Gray and Secretary Todd Foster.
Photos of the occasion are shown below and more can be read of this wonderful occasion on the Ryman Rita Angus Community News page https://www.rymanhealthcare.co.nz/ryman-news/special-stopover-for-the-mace-tour-at-rita-angus-village
