A huge thank you to Willie Marshall and Jazz Bailey for organising this game - it was a real showcase of Wellington up and coming talent and hugely enjoyed by all who attended.

In the end, the game resulted in a draw when rain interrupted play in the last half hour. The Blue team had posted 200/5 in the first innings but I’m not sure if the White team could have taken the game with the remaining six overs left to bowl and needing to score 88 to win.

Neha Ramanathan scored 67 runs and Lily Campbell 65. Isla McKensie took a couple of great catches - including a one handed rolling dive. It’s hard to distinguish bowlers as wickets were spread around evenly and economies low across the board.
