Life Member Honours: Evan Gray's Unforgettable 100th First Class Match Memory at Seddon Park

“Umpiring Seddon CC matches at Seddon Park today and I was given a lovely surprise. My name from the old scoreboard at the Morrinsville Domain where I played my 100th First Class match for Wellington. I remember the match as 3 of the 4 opening batsmen scored golden ducks. Graham Hick got a 100, we started the match with 10 players because at the last minute we flew an extra spinner (Brett Williams) up from Wellington. Pretty sure I got runs and wickets, the match was drawn. Northern Districts made a presentation to me in honour of the occasion. Means a lot so cool.”
