Our Wanderers Young Cricketers Programme has concluded for its second season, with 18 players graduating the season's programme in March.

We were fortunate to have one Test Match in Wellington at the Cello Basin Reserve. We hosted the Test Match Breakfast during the BLACKCAPS and Australia Test in March. We hosted our Annual Founders' Day during the Wellington v Otago Super Smash Double Header in February. And we also co-hosted with NZCPA and Cricket Wellington our first Past Player events, the first on Day 4 of the BLACKCAPS and Australia Test for men and the second during the WHITE FERNS and England WODI on 1 April.

There has been plenty of action on the field with 20 school matches played, this includes 8 Schoolgirls matches, the highlight being the Schoolgirls clash at the Cello Basin Reserve on 4 April.

The Wanderers Over 50s had a busy season with two tours to Christchurch in November 2023 to play against Willows CC and Valley of the Peace CC, and to Hawkes Bay in March to play Ocean Beach CC and Clifton County CC.

The Wanderers’ Kindred team have also had plenty of action, travelling to Taupō for the NZ Kindred Cup, to Hawkes Bay to play Clifton County CC and Sherwood CC, and hosting the Wanderers Tri Series at the Cello Basin Reserve against Seddon CC and United Country & Vineyard CC.

Thanks to every member for continuing to support our Club. With your continued support, we can keep delivering on our Club's mission to develop youth cricketers and connect past players.

We hope you enjoy your Autumn 2024 Members’ Newsletter, and we look forward to seeing you back at the Cello Basin Reserve next season.
